Mt. Asama-yama erupted today in Japan. Mt. Asama-yama is an active volcano at the boundary of Gunma and Nagano prefecture in Japan. On the afternoon of today, the Meteorological Agency warned that outbreak of the middle scale eruption might be expected in future. They cautioned so far in particular for a big cinder. In Japan, it is thought that earthquake is the most terrible natural disaster, not an eruption of volcano. However, an eruption of volcano in Japan occasionally leads to a terrible natural phenomenon. Historically, Japanese volcano's eruption sometimes caused a great disaster. It is the eruption of Mt. Fuji that I am most afraid of. How will things go if Mt. Fuji erupts? Imagining this phenomenon seems really terrible. |
